Where The philippines name come from?

The philippines name was named after a king. This king was a Spaniard, name Philip.

first lets go in Philippine history before the spaniard.

the philippines was a group of islands and full of trees and wild animals. the first people live was negritos. negritos are short, dark, flat noses and curly hair. they not stay at home for a long time. they moved from one place to another. they hunted animals for their food.
the 2nd people come to philippine is Indonesians. Indonesians were tall and thin. they had high noses. their hair was long and a little curly. they lived in the mountains. they lived in one place for a ling time. they planted rice for food. they used better tools for hunting and cooking.
the 3rd come to the philippine is malays.. they came to the philippines by boats. these boats were called barangays. each barangay was under a chief. the chief was called a datu. malays lived in the lowlands. they used better tools than the first two groups. they wore more clothes. and ate better foods.
Most Filipinos today belong to the Malay group. Some belong to the Indonesian group. A few belong to the Negrito Group.
